Sequoia Therapy
A Space Where You Are Truly Seen
At Sequoia Therapy, everyone deserves to feel understood, respected and accepted for who they are. I offer a calm, welcoming and non‑judgemental space where you can explore your experiences safely and work towards meaningful, lasting change. My practice is evidence‑informed, trauma‑informed and neurodivergent affirming, ensuring support that is both compassionate and grounded in best practice.
About Us
My Therapeutic Approach
Every person’s experiences, relationships and way of understanding the world are unique. I focus on strengths, value lived experience and work collaboratively to understand what matters most to you. Rather than viewing challenges through a deficit lens, I celebrate individuality and tailor therapy to your needs.
As a neurodivergent therapist, I bring personal insight together with extensive professional knowledge. This combination helps me build genuine, trusting relationships where people feel listened to, valued and supported.

Who I Work With
I support children, young people, adults and families experiencing a wide range of emotional, developmental and psychological challenges, including:
Developmental trauma, Attachment difficulties, Neurodivergence, Sensory processing differences, Anxiety and emotional regulation, Relationship challenges, Significant life transitions
I have specialist expertise in Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, OCD, Tics & Tourette’s, emotional regulation and developmental trauma. This allows me to adapt therapy to each individual rather than expecting people to fit a predefined model.

Deep Roots, Safe Space, Brighter Futures
In a calm, nurturing environment, Sequoia Therapy supports children and young people to build resilience, confidence, and healthier ways of coping.

Where Play Becomes a Path to Healing
Through sand trays, puppets, music, and movement, Sequoia Therapy helps children express what’s hard to say in words and feel truly understood.

Growing Stronger, One Story at a Time
Sequoia Therapy offers a gentle, creative space where children and young people can explore their feelings through play, art, and imagination.
Collaborative, Compassionate Therapy
Why I Stand Out
I believe the best therapy is collaborative. It begins with curiosity, compassion and a commitment to understanding your lived experience. While personal insight can offer valuable perspective, it is always combined with professional expertise, evidence‑based practice and a dedication to helping you achieve meaningful, sustainable change.
Compassionate Care
At Sequoia Therapy, compassionate care means truly seeing the whole person behind the behaviour or struggle. I offer a warm, non‑judgmental space where children, young people and families are met with patience, curiosity and respect. By moving at your pace and listening carefully to both words and play, I aim to create a sense of safety where difficult feelings can be explored gently. Together, we work towards healing, resilience and a deeper sense of being understood and valued.
Professional
At Sequoia Therapy, professional care means combining warmth and creativity with solid training, clear boundaries, and ethical practice. Sessions are thoughtfully planned, informed by current research, and tailored to each child, young person, or adult’s unique needs. Communication with families and other professionals is handled with care and confidentiality, so everyone feels informed and respected. This balance of heart and expertise helps create a safe, reliable space where meaningful, lasting change can happen.
Personalised Approach
At Sequoia Therapy, a personalised approach means shaping each session around the unique story, strengths and needs of the person in front of me. No two children, young people or adults are the same, so I draw from a wide range of creative tools – from sand trays and puppets to art, music and movement – to find what feels most natural and safe for you. Together, we move at your pace, regularly checking in and adapting as things change, so therapy always feels relevant, respectful and truly your own.
Beyond the Therapy Room
The Heart of Our Care
My work extends beyond individual sessions. Through education, advocacy, consultation and partnership with families, schools, health professionals and community organisations.
I aim to increase understanding of neurodivergence, trauma and emotional wellbeing. My goal is to help create more inclusive environments and better outcomes for the people I support.
